Cast Iron Pizza
Do you love pizza? Oh yes....pizza is truly my own food group especially when the crust is thin and crunchy!!! This pizza is so easy and delicious. After this recipe, you will not call for delivery again. Did you know that pizza is my all time favorite food? What is better than crunchy bread, vegetables (or not), cheese, and Italian seasoning? This pizza is large enough to share or as a personal treat.

Ingredients:
Olive Oil
4 tbsp marinara sauce
Prepared pizza crust (I used a "The Fresh Market" prepared crust)
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F. Lightly grease the cast iron skillet. Add the prepared pizza crust to the skillet. Top the pizza crust with marinara sauce. (Tip: Please adjust the crust and sauce to your desire taste.) Add the cheese. Add your favorite protein (we used pepperoni) and vegetables (jalapenos are great too). Lightly spray the prepared pizza with a cooking spray. Cook on top of the stove on medium to high heat for 2-3 minutes or until the crust starts to sizzle. Place the skillet into the oven and cook for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven, cut into wedges, and serve!
Enjoy!!!
Tip: We like our crust thin and minimum sauce with lots of cheese and vegetables.
Tip: Add the vegetables of your choice and protein. Basil is great addition too!
