Ham - Brown Sugar and Pineapple
1 8 pound bone in ham
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup pineapple rounds, crushed, or tidbits
1 jar of cherries (optional)
1 cup water
1 turkey or crock pot bag
Place the bag in the crock pot or large stock pot. If using a large stock pot, preheat the oven at 300 degrees. Place the bag into the stock pot or crock pot. Place the ham inside of the bag. Put the brown sugar on top of the ham. Pour the pineapple over the ham including the juice. If using the pineapple rings, place the onto the ham with toothpicks. Add the cherries in the middle of the pineapple rings. Pour the water onto the side of the ham. Roll up the bag to seal in the juices. Place the lid onto the crock pot or stock pot. Crock pot - cook on high for 4 hours. Oven - place into the preheated oven and cook for 3 hours. Remove from the oven and slice thinly.
